WHAT THIS ASSESSMENT DOES
What This Assessment Does
It measures four things and connects them
Most resilience tools ask how you cope. This one looks at what's underneath — the physiological patterns that determine how much capacity you have in the first place.
The assessment maps four domains of your nervous system function, all through the lens of breathing:
Breathing Function — how you breathe at rest and during sleep. Whether your baseline breathing pattern is supporting your nervous system or working against it.
Stress-Recovery Balance — how your body responds to pressure and how well it recovers afterward. Whether the recovery system is actually switching on.
Sleep Quality — whether your sleep is restoring you or just passing time. Sleep is where regulation either resets or compounds.
Self-Regulation Capacity — your ability to notice what's happening inside and respond deliberately rather than reactively.
The four domains combine into a profile — where your nervous system is right now, and where breathing can shift it.
WHY THIS APPROACH
It starts where you actually are
Most assessments in this space either measure something clinical you can't act on without a practitioner, or they ask you a few questions and sell you a programme. This one does something different. It takes your lived experience — how you sleep, how you handle pressure, how your energy moves through the day — and connects it to the one thing you can change immediately: how you breathe.
It works with perception rather than measurement. That's deliberate. How you experience your breathing, stress, and sleep is what determines whether you'll actually engage with a practice. A clinical number you can't feel is less useful than a pattern you recognise.
The assessment does not diagnose anything. It is not a medical or psychological evaluation. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please see a qualified professional. And it is not a lead magnet dressed as a tool — there is no sales funnel behind it. You get a personalised report, a matched practice, and a follow-up sequence that explains why the practice works. That's it.
I built this to be the tool I wished I had when I first started exploring breathwork and its connection to the different elements of wellness I was just becoming aware of - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

HOW IT WORKS
What happens when you take the assessment
Step 1
You answer 21 questions across four domains. It takes 3–5 minutes. Everything is processed in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to provide your email.
Step 2
You receive a personalised report that explains your current nervous system operating pattern, where the constraints are, and where a specific breathing practice can make the most difference. The report includes a foundation practice matched to your current state.
Step 3
You choose what to do next.
Some people take the practice and run with it. Some want to understand why the practice works — the email sequence that follows explains the evidence behind your results. Either way, the assessment stands on its own.
WHO BUILT THIS
Twenty years of corporate pressure. Nine Caminos. One question that kept coming back.
When I trained as a coach and then as a breathwork practitioner, I started noticing a gap.
The breathwork industry sells technique with overnight-transformation promises.
The coaching world focuses on cognition and behaviour. Neither starts where the nervous system actually is.
I spent years studying what sits beneath performance, decision-making, and the capacity to handle pressure. First it was breath — the physiology of how breathing patterns shape everything from sleep to emotional regulation. Then it was what breath gives you access to: a nervous system that can widen its range, hold more complexity, and stay regulated when things get uncertain.
What carried me through the hardest stretches (multiple Camino walks, working in remote and hostile environments) — the times that lasted months, not minutes — was the capacity I was building underneath: the ability to hold the messy middle of change without needing it resolved.
This assessment explores where your nervous system actually is — how you breathe, how you recover, how you sleep, and how you regulate under pressure.
It takes about four minutes. You'll get a personalised report that shows your current pattern and where a specific breathing practice can make the most difference. It's free, it's private, and it's built to be honest rather than reassuring. You can go deeper if you want to.
